Mr. Shashikant Wakade
Founder Sunjeevan Greenergy
Coming from a very humble background and hailing from a very small dusty town of Maharashtra near Barshi city, Shashikant Wakade has always been a topper in the early days of schooling. Although the parents and family members were working in the mining industry, he was determined to do something of his own. Started his entrepreneurial journey with a business in Stationary and Printing. In the year 1989, he literally did a lot of leg-work to sell his products besides taking care of manufacturing. Around mid-90s, this industry faced global competition but Mr. Wakade continued to learn newer technologies and added newer types of machinery to stay relevant.
His thirst to learn new technologies and passion to do something meaningful for the planet earth got him interested in Solar Energy. He took the training from MITCON and made a modest beginning with smaller installations. Amar Builders, one of the premium companies gave him the first big opportunity and the ball started rolling. He continued to operate two businesses simultaneously for some time. Mr. Wakade is a strong believer of building his own team and it got much-needed and timely support from customers, associates, and family members.
Shashikant likes taking the challenges and his boldness never allowed the tough situation to affect his mindset and courage. Having seen a number of ups and downs in life as well as business, Mr. Wakade is a fully composed and balanced personality.
Mr. Wakade is not just a successful and first-generation entrepreneur but he is also contributing to the community. As a Treasurer of MASMA – a Maharashtra-wide association for Solar Businesses, he is playing an instrumental role in policymaking and strategy. He is also Treasurer with Saturday Club Global Trust and a member for two years. Socially active Mr. Wakade is also a member of Business Network International (BNI) as well as the Lions Club.
Having experienced hardship in his own life, Shashikant is highly committed to the people. Employee Welfare is a result of the values that he has imbibed.
Our Team
MR. Rushikesh Wakade
His vision and actions on After Sales Services to the customer are giving the best user experience. Learning new things and keeping a tab on emerging trends is inherited from his father. Solar Concentrators is currently in his mind and he is pursuing his own research on this new emerging trend.
He is keenly focused on Automation and making use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in the solar industry is on his plan.
MR. Akshay Wakade
This is reflected in every single project he completes. His hunger for knowledge and ability to apply makes him a dynamic technocrat.
Akshay has also equipped himself with commercial, communication and contract management skills.
